This position serves as a senior public affairs specialist including but not limited to business opportunities and risks; maintain and create a favorable external public communication that consolidate Company's business development foundation.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Micro and Industry insight:

  • Through regular analysis of microeconomic, technological, and industry development, conduct impact assessment and provide insight and recommendation to the management.

  • Analyze ICT and investment-related policies and regulations; advocate for the policy that supports industry growth and company objectives; provide guidance on local and national industry policies.

  • Proactively identify, track, and tackle regulatory and business compliance risks.

2.  Ecosystem & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Develop engagement plan and strategies aligning with organization priorities.

  • Build strong ties with all the key external stakeholders, national ICT ecosystems, industry associations, local Tech communities and academic institutions

3. Corporation Reputation and PR Affairs:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies tailored to the Nepali market.

  • Act as the main promoter and narrator of company’s social values and corporate mission.

  • Protect, enhance, and build company’s overall corporate reputation across all media and public forums.

  • Plan and execute impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.

  • Lead and oversee key corporate events, press conferences, and summits.

Qualification:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Telecommunication or related filed; master’s degree preferred.

  2. 5+ years of working experience in public affairs, regulatory affairs or business environment affairs;

  3. Good knowledge of the ICT/Telecom/technology and regulatory frameworks

  4. Proven track record of key stakeholder management

  5. Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional team internally as well as external stakeholders.
