Financial Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to support financial accounting operations, reconciliation processes, reporting, and financial statement preparation. The role requires strong analytical ability, SAP experience, and the capability to handle large and complex financial data sets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage financial accounting records with accuracy and compliance.

• Perform regular review and reconciliation of books of accounts, particularly in the areas of:

  • Trade payables

  • Advances

  • Inventory accounts

• Prepare detailed financial schedules, variance analysis reports, and related Management Information System (MIS) reports.

• Assist in the preparation and finalization of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry, processing, and reporting using SAP systems.

• Handle large volumes of financial data and ensure proper classification, consolidation, and analysis.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Proven experience in financial accounting and reconciliation functions.

• Strong experience in SAP (mandatory).

• Hands-on experience in:

  • Accounts payable and receivable processes

  • Inventory reconciliation

  • Financial reporting and MIS preparation

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large/complex datasets.

• Good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

• Close attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.

Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
