Role Overview
We are recruiting a Senior AI Developer to lead the offshore delivery engine for an enterprise agentic AI programme. The programme designs, builds and deploys up to 100 production-grade AI agents across 13 subsidiaries on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. Operating from Bangalore, this role owns the technical design and build of approved use cases, mentors and manages the junior offshore developers, and partners with the UAE onsite team to take agents from architecture through UAT to production go-live, followed by 60-day warranty and KPI monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & solution design: Define the technical architecture for each approved use case, select the required Azure services and agent patterns, and contribute to the Architecture Blueprint for written approval before development begins.

  • Agent development & delivery: Build, integrate and optimise AI agents – orchestration, LLM/model routing, RAG and vector retrieval, prompt engineering and enterprise system integration – to meet Use case design document acceptance criteria.

  • Team leadership & mentoring: Mentor and manage the junior offshore developers and ML/data engineers in Bangalore; set coding standards, run code reviews, allocate work and ensure delivery throughput and quality.

  • Gate process & quality: Drive each agent through the five-gate process (G1–G5), supporting functional, performance, integration and UAT testing and ensuring VA/PT clearance before production release.

  • Stakeholder engagement & demos: Work closely with the UAE onsite team and business/IT SMEs, and demonstrate working agents to business stakeholders ahead of UAT sign-off and go-live.

  • Warranty & knowledge transfer: Support 60-day post-deployment warranty and adoption KPI monitoring, and deliver code, model artefacts and documentation handover.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years in software / AI engineering, with 4+ years delivering production LLM, GenAI or agentic AI solutions.

  • Construction-domain background – hands-on experience delivering digital/AI solutions in construction, infrastructure, EPC, engineering or asset-heavy industries.

  • Proven track record deploying AI use cases at scale with measurable business impact, and leading or mentoring developer teams.

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

Technical Skills

  • Azure AI stack: Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI (GPT-4o / GPT-4o-mini / GPT-5), Azure AI Search, Cognitive Services and Azure Machine Learning (governed model lifecycle).

  • Agentic engineering: agent orchestration, agent registry, LLM/model router (AI firewall), RAG, vector stores, prompt engineering and output validation.

  • Cloud & platform: AKS, Container Instances, API Management, Logic Apps, Event Bus; Data Lake, SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Redis, Blob Storage, Key Vault; Python and CI/CD on Azure DevOps.

  • Enterprise integration: API-based integration with Oracle ERP (Fusion), HRMS (TBMS), Primavera P6, ITSM and SharePoint.

Security & Compliance Knowledge

  • Building to UAE and international standards: ISO 27001, ISO 42001, UAE PDPL, UAE IA (NESA/ISR)

  • Secure-by-design practices: OWASP LLM Top 10, prompt-injection defence, PII scrubbing, RBAC/MFA, private endpoints, TLS 1.3, UAE data residency (UAE North) and human-in-the-loop controls for financial/legal agents.

Working Model & Location

  • Offshore role based in Bangalore, managing the junior team and supporting the UAE onsite team remotely.

  • Minimum one week per month from the Bangalore office is acceptable, with remote team management for the remainder; strong preference for full-time presence in the Bangalore office during the first 3–4 months.

  • Occasional travel to the UAE may be required for key milestones, demos or gate reviews.

Success Measures (KPIs)

  • Approved use cases delivered on schedule and passing G4 (UAT) and G5 (departmental sign-off) first time.

  • Agent quality and reliability: UAT pass rate, defect/rework rate and successful VA/PT clearance at every release gate.

  • Offshore team throughput, code quality and on-time delivery against the master programme plan.

  • Adoption and stability of deployed agents during the 60-day warranty (usage, low bypass rate, user satisfaction).

Engagement: Full-time, 9-month programme + 60-day warranty support.
