Sales Manager – Uzbekistan (FMCG Distribution Network)
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing distributor relationships across Uzbekistan while supporting regional business development initiatives in Central Asia. The role requires strong FMCG sales experience, distributor management expertise, and the ability to execute market expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
Identify new business opportunities, distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts.
Lead market penetration and expansion initiatives across assigned territories within Uzbekistan.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Distributor Management
Recruit, evaluate, and appoint new distributors where required.
Manage and strengthen relationships with existing distributors.
Ensure distributor compliance with company policies, pricing, and sales objectives.
Conduct regular business reviews with distributors and key partners.
Monitor distributor inventory levels and forecast demand accurately.
Trade & Channel Development
Develop and implement channel-specific growth plans.
Ensure product availability and visibility across traditional trade, modern trade, and wholesale channels.
Support trade marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Improve distribution coverage and retail execution standards.
Sales Planning & Reporting
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
Analyze sales performance and provide actionable recommendations.
Generate regular reports on sales, distribution, market coverage, and competitor activities.
Maintain accurate CRM and sales records.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
Support product launches and promotional activities.
Provide market intelligence to senior management.
Experience
5–7 years of FMCG sales experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing distributor networks in Uzbekistan.
Proven track record of achieving sales growth targets.
Experience in the Uzbekistan FMCG market is mandatory.
Existing network within FMCG distributors, wholesalers, and key retail channels in Uzbekistan is a strong advantage.
